BE-31 The Starlight Angel

This was the 1989 Angel, and she was a real treasure!  She seems to be sweeping through an open window and is holding a candle while covering a sleeping child.  She measures 160 stitches across by 173 down, and is framed in a 13 x 15 1/2 inch frame when stitched on 18 Aida and framed with the special dome opening mat. The Snow Angel

The 1988 Angel is still the most popular!  The Snow Angel, with her flowing gown and birds and rabbits feeding nearby seems to have captured the imagination more than any other angel from Becky. Snow measures 160 stitches across by 173 down.  She is framed in a 12 x 141/2 inch frame when stitched on 18 Aida and framed with the special opening mat shown. BE-29 The Bethany Angel

Bethany was introduced to the world in 1987. She has a marvelous halo and flowing gowns, and is holding a silver chalice.  She measures 112 stitches across by 127 down, and is framed in a10 x 12 inch frame kit when worked on 18 Aida and framed with the double mats as shown. BE-27 The Victorian Angel

This lovely angel graced the scene in 1986.  She has a beautiful flowing gown in shades of mauve and dusty rose, and is carrying a lantern. She is 117 stitches across by 143 down. In 1985, world peace was on the angels’ minds. These two are lost in prayer.  The design measures 99 stitches across by 124 down. BE-21 The Florentine Angel

This was the 1984 angel, and she was beautifully styled in shades of deep rose and gold. She measures 101 stitches across by 102 stitches down. her framing kit is 10 x 12 inches when she is stitched on 18 Aida. BE-8 The Coventry Angel

This will always be one of our favorites, because it is the first published by Serendipity after a marketing agreement was made with MarBek. Presented to the world in 1983, she featured flowing robes in turquoise and blue, with a billowing cape of mauve with brilliant gold accents.  She measures 92 stitches across by 112 down. The 1982 angel has always been popular.  Her gown is scarlet with a royal blue cape. She is holding a scroll. These were the two that started it all.  First designed in 1977, one holds a trumpet, the other a star. People were enchanted with their delicate features and flowing gowns, and a legend was born.
