Tapestry Collection of Designs for Needlepoint and Counted Cross Stitch

	In order to create this exciting new look in counted cross stitch, our designers had specially dyed tapestry colored 18 count Aida fabrics made for us by Zweigart. These fabrics give cross stitch the look of rich canvas work, without the tedious work of filling in the backgrounds. The designs, as well as the special fabrics, are available at all Authorized Dealers and Distributors.

L-51 Melbury and L-52 Lancaster

These are the “anchors” of the tapestry collection. Reminiscent of the great floral tapestries of Europe, these elegant designs will be the focal points of any classical decor. Both are stitched on Serendipity’s Tapestry Green Fabric. They are about 180 stitches by 180 stitches. They shown in 17 1/2 x 17 1/2 inch frames. The leaflets cost $6.00. L-53 Versailles

This elegant design is shown worked as a pillow or as a piece for framing. The pillow stitch count is 196 wide by 200 high. The picture size is 145 stitches wide by 177 high. The leaflet cost $6.00. The pillow kit cost $24.00 and is #KL-53A. The picture kit is #KL-53B and cost $$23.00. The frame kit, #FKL-53 cost $42.00. The pillow is stitched on Serendipity’s Tapestry Blue fabric. L-54 Brookwood and L-55 Hampton

These designs are variations on a classic theme of using fruits and nuts for elaborate borders. The leaflets present the designs so they can be worked with the gold bands in either direction, or both for an elegant bellpull. The leaflets cost $5.00. The kits cost $22.00. L-56 Caverleigh and L-57 Ashbourne

These marvelous pillows feature intricately designed florals, surrounded by elegant borders. The Tapestry Green fabric perfectly showcases these beautiful designs. The leaflets cost $6.00. 	This great new look was so exciting to Becky Waldrop, of MarBek Designs, that she set aside her angel designing to produce five leaflets for the Tapestry Collection.

BE-48 Fruited Tapestry

In this design Becky created a classical fruit motif for her center, then wrapped it in a fantastic border. The stitch count of the entire piece is 247 across by 246 down. The large image Becky chose to work over two on Zweigart Christmas Green Lugana. The small picture is worked on Tapestry Green. The frame size for the larger picture is 22 x 22 inches. BE-49 Fernwood Tapestry and BE-50 Winter Tapestry

Fernwood shows delicate ferns surrounding purple flowers, all encased in an intricate border. Winter features berries, fall foliage, and ivy in an intricate border. Both are stitched on Tapestry Green fabric. They are approximately 200 by 200 stitches. The pillows finish up to 14 x 14 inches. The leaflets cost $6.00. The stitchery kits cost $24.00. BE-53 Venetian Tapestry

This is a stunning shell motif, surrounded by swirling scrollwork. The design is stitched on Tapestry Red fabric. The stitch count is 87 high by 241 wide. The pillow was finished to 12 x 16 inches. Directions for making the cording are included. This design would make a gorgeous piano bench or church kneeler. The leaflet cost $6.00. BE-52 Tuscany

This design is shown as both a pillow and a bellpull. Their quiet elegance will grace any living room. The bellpull finishes at 7 x 31 inches. The pillow design area is 5 1/4 x 10 5/8.
